GUTS is a female expedition through Africa. Friends, Marie Pfisterer and Patrizia Bruno co-produced the adventure documentary. It follows two European women journeying from Biarritz, France down through Northwestern Africa and back in their off-road 4×4, camping, searching for waves, trekking in the Atlas Mountains, learning from locals, navigating car breakdowns and inter- and intrapersonal obstacles they face along the way. It’s not just a 4.5 month road trip; it’s a journey that highlights female empowerment, reconnecting with nature, the pursuit of freedom, and having the guts to pursue an idea. GUTS is a dedication to the incredible stories that often go untold. It showcases the inspiring African women who are carving their paths, step by step, and inviting others to bring their own ideas to fruition regardless of the limitations or perceived dangers that lie ahead.
